Hensall Co-op is currently looking for a hard working, dynamic individual to join our team in the role of an Electrician. The Electrician is responsible to complete installations, repairs and preventative maintenance to all Hensall Co-op electrical systems and equipment.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Become familiar with all electrical systems and equipment operated by Hensall Co-op
  • Installation, maintenance and repairs for Hensall Co-op electrical systems and equipment
  • Complete all work orders for billing purposes
  • Maintain/order adequate parts
  • Computer data entry
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • All other work as assigned
Job Requirements:
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent electrical troubleshooting abilities
  • Good knowledge of PLC systems and automated equipment
  • Good mechanical ability
  • Thorough and organized
  • Must be able to work as a team or on your own
  • Ability to operate equipment such as forklifts, genie, and scissor lift
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum High School Diploma
  • Minimum 1-3 years as a licensed electrician
  • Red Seal 309A Construction and Maintenance Electrician or 442A Industrial Electrician
  • Valid driver’s license
