Hensall Co-op is seeking a dynamic individual to become an integral part of our Field Marketing team. This is a full-time position.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work with the Western origination team to meet acreage targets

• Capitalize and negotiate on opportunities to sell seed and crop inputs

• Build relationships with food grade producers

• Work with the origination team to maintain traceability requirements

• Build and maintain agronomic knowledge in dry bean production

• Assist in retail sales and services

• Work closely with the operation team

• Work with the cooperator to create plots and trials to evaluate new products

Job Requirements:

• Ability to work well in both a team setting and individually with minimal supervision

• Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills

• Ability to meet tight deadlines for sales targets and special projects

• Strong agricultural background and knowledge

• Ability to perform all sales related tasks

Required Qualifications:

• Post-Secondary degree/diploma in Agriculture

• At least 2 years’ experience in Ag Retail preferred

• CCA designation preferred or willingness to obtain

• Valid Manitoba Driver’s License
