Hensall Co-op is seeking a dynamic individual to become an integral member of our team at the Hensall location.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Support the Environmental Health and Safety Manager in daily operations

  • Administer and track wellness programs including employee communication, coaching, and learning

  • Assist in the tracking and supporting all employees with health and safety needs

  • Assist in the administration and delivery of training in various health and safety topics

  • Assist in auditing for performance in health and safety

  • Assist in administration and tracking of metrics for use in key performance indicators

  • Assist in the administration of disability management, cultural behavior, wellness initiatives, contractor safety program, safety clothing and protective equipment programs

  • Other duties as assigned


Job Requirements:
  • Extremely organized, detail orientated individual

  • Comfortable working with employees to help resolve questions or issues

  • Ability to work in fast paced environment and be able to speak in public settings

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.


Required Qualifications:
  • Diploma or University Degree in related field

  • 2+ years previous experience in a similar role preferred
