Hensall Co-op is growing! We are seeking a dynamic individual to become an integral member of our team. This position is full-time, working out of the Exeter location.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparation of the monthly accounting/journal entries for various departments as required
  • Reconciliation of various departmental monthly inventories
  • Monthly/weekly reporting to various licensing bodies (grain, stats, etc.)
  • Assist with implementation of Sage and other software
  • Assist in development of Sisense dashboards
  • Assist with obtaining documents for the yearly audit
  • Completion of various daily/weekly/monthly tasks as assigned (general accounting, treasury, etc.)
  • Assist in the budget process
  • Assist in Accounts Payable/Receivable as required
  • Responsible for all other duties as assigned by Accounting staff

Job Requirements:

  • Excellent organizational, mathematical, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong proficiency in MS office
  • Ability to prioritize tasks to ensure deadlines are met
  • Work well with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work well with the rest of the administrative team


Required Qualifications:

  • Completion of post-secondary education in a business-related program
  • Prior experience in an accounting/office environment would be considered an asset
