We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our Hensall Food’s team as a Food Line Technician. This position will primarily focus on cooking meals and components according to pre-established recipes, to be packaged into individual containers for consumption. 

Job Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including pre-batching, portioning, chopping, etc.

• Cook a variety of meal components such as sauces, starches and meat sauces according to established batch recipes by using cooking kettles. 

• Keep workstation clean and organized and ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.

• Operate production line machinery and equipment.

• Inspect and maintain equipment. 

• Help production team during filling, cooking and packaging operations as needed.

• All other duties as assigned.

​Job Requirements:

• Highly motivated individual capable of working under minimal supervision
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Lift and handle 30- 50lb ingredient bags or pails
• Participate in equipment cleaning tasks at par-cooking area/production line
• Good organizational, time management and problem-solving skills
   

Required Qualifications: 

• Ontario Secondary School Diploma 
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment 
• Previous cooking experience would be an asset
