Hensall Co-op is seeking a reliable individual to become an integral member of our team! This position is full-time and will work out of the Hensall location. The responsibilities of this position will vary depending on the season.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Safely operate and maintain fertilizer application equipment, ensuring proper functionality and efficiency.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and perform minor repairs to prevent breakdowns.
• General maintenance of custom application equipment - including spreaders, gators, fertilizer tenders, and water wagons.
• Maintaining records of application, field conditions, daily trip, and safety inspection sheets.
• Provide superior customer service on farms and within HC locations.
• Operation of forklifts, loaders and other equipment.
• Assist with elevator operations during harvest period.
• Understand and follow all HC Health and Safety and Environmental policies and procedures.
• All other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Attention to detail with strong time management.
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and verbal/communication skills
• Strong understanding of agricultural and custom application practices
• Ability to seasonally work overtime including weekends as needed.
• Ability to work both alone and with other employees.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid G driver’s license – AZ or DZ would be an asset
• Previous experience in an agricultural environment would be beneficial
