Hensall Co-op is seeking a skilled and experienced software developer with strong expertise in SQL, Python, React and Angular to join our team.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain web-based applications
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement user-friendly interfaces
• Ensure the responsiveness and performance of applications across various devices and browsers
• Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to support application requirements
• Perform database tuning and ensure data integrity and security
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for application functionality
• Integrate third-party APIs and services as needed
• Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to improve code quality
• Participate in business applications projects implementation
• Document technical specifications, application designs, and development processes
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends and apply this knowledge to improve current and future projects

Job Requirements:

• Proficient in SQL and experience with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MS SQL Server
• Strong programming skills in Python
• Solid experience with Angular and/or React for front-end development
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
• Understanding of RESTful API design and implementation
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in full-stack development
• Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent work experience will also be considered
• Proven track record of successfully delivering web applications from concept to deployment
• Experience with Business Intelligence systems (PowerBI, Nectaris, etc) would be an asset
