The London Farm Show began as a one-day event, originally called the Middlesex Seed Fair and Food Show, and has grown to be the largest indoor Farm Show in Eastern Canada. The show continues to provide premium exhibitors and big brand equipment and has changed and evolved over the years with an ever-evolving and innovative industry. Several exhibitors in the show were recognized in 2013 for their long-standing relationships with Western Fair Association, including: Case IH, Dairy Lane Systems Ltd., Dekalb, John Deere Dealers of Ontario, Kitchener Silo Inc., Kongskilde Industries Inc., Ontario Federation of Agriculture/ Middlesex Federation of Agriculture, Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, and Syngenta Canada Inc. Each year, the London Farm Show also welcomes the Middlesex Agricultural Hall of Fame to recognize those who have demonstrated unselfish achievements within the realm of agriculture and service to the rural community in Middlesex County and beyond.
The show recently celebrated its 80th anniversary in 2018, and for the 81st year, the show is continuing on providing the latest in agricultural technology and innovation, showcased over three days, with 350+ exhibitors representing all facets of the agricultural industry. The London Farm Show brings trending topics to improve agricultural operations, with daily, informative speakers. In 2018, the show expanded to the BMO Centre at 295 Rectory Street, a 160,000 square foot facility. New in 2019, the London Farm Show will also include vendors from the past Dairy Show, which has amalgamated with the Farm Show.
