We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Project Manager to lead complex technical projects and drive successful delivery in a hybrid working environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies and will possess extensive experience as a software developer. This role will report directly to the IT Director.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage end-to-end technical projects from inception to delivery.
- Develop comprehensive project plans.
- Coordinate and manage cross-functional teams, ensuring clear communication and collaboration.
- Mitigate risks and resolve project-related issues.
- Hands-on software development will be required.
- Track and report on project progress, KPIs, and overall status to senior management.
- Provide technical oversight and guidance to development teams.
- Participate in architecture and design discussions.
- Review and approve technical documentation, code reviews, and deliverables.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications with stakeholders.
- Provide coaching to other team members on Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Job Requirements:
- Strong proficiency with GitHub software development platform
- Proficient in using project management tools.
- Capable of understanding complex software systems and communicate effectively with infra, ops, Cyber, and development teams.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
- 5 to 10 years of software development experience with a strong proficiency in React/Node.js, React/Next.js and Angular programming languages.
- Completion of a complex software project.
- 5 years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of managing technical projects using either Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
- PMP or Agile certification would be considered an asset.
- Scrum Mater certification also considered an asset.
